Devereux is a New York City-based writer, director, and editor. He is the founder of BlindSpot Studios, an independent production company specializing in the production of narrative films, short documentaries, music videos, and promotional pieces. 

Since graduating from the Film & TV program at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Devereux has collaborated with such artists as Lena Dunham, Mary-Louise Parker, Amy Tan, George Saunders, Rodney Crowell, Garland Jeffreys, Rosanne Cash, Betty Who, Niia, Brian Koppelman, and Gary Shteyngart. 

His first feature film, Honeydew, was accepted to the 2020 Tribeca Film Festival, where he was nominated for best new narrative director. In addition, the film earned official selections by Sitges Film Festival, Rome Film Festival, Frightfest, Cleveland International Film Festival, Calgary Underground, Strasbourg Film Festival, and North Bend Film Festival. It was featured on Esquire’s “Best Movies of 2021”, USA Today’s “Top 10 Horror Movies of 2021”, and Thrillist’s “Best Horror Movies of 2021”. After a successful theatrical run, the film is now streaming on Tubi, Amazon Prime, Apple TV, and other online platforms.

Devereux is currently co-writing a Martin Scorsese-produced film adaptation of Mary Karr’s memoir, The Liars’ Club, with the author. In addition, for the last few years he has been developing a feature adaption of the George Saunders short story "The 400-Pound CEO", from the book CivilWarLand In Bad Decline. He’s currently in development on his second feature film, The Heat Wave, with Andrea Cornwell of Lobo Films (Saint Maud, Love Lies Bleeding) producing.
